A study presented at the European Congress on Obesity reveals that obese people are still at risk even if they look healthy. They don’t need to exhibit warning signs like hypertension or even diabetes. According to researchers, obese people who ‘looked healthy’ are 50 percent more likely to suffer from coronary heart disease. There is also a 7 percent increased risk of a stroke.

There is another study that supports this. A study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology reveals that out of 14,828 adults without heart disease, obese people are at risk of developing arterial plaque blockages. The study further cements the idea that metabolic health is more of an assumption than a fact.

Shedding Off The Pounds

No two people can undergo exactly similar weight loss programs and experience the same results. Losing weight begins with choosing a workout plan. It relies a lot on several factors.

The first is your body type. There are three main ones: ectomorph, endomorph, and mesomorph. Ectomorphs are lean with thin builds (skinny).
